INTRODUCTION
Paadaam Namukku Paadaam – Global Malayalam Singing Competition 2026. This competition is organized as a fundraising initiative by Punarjani Charitable Trust, in association with Voice of Calicut and Health Vogue.
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to individuals who can sing Malayalam songs only. Participants must register under the appropriate category based on their age or residency status. The NRK (Non-Resident Keralite) category is open to participants aged 20 years and above residing outside Kerala in India or abroad.
Participants below 18 years must register with consent from their parent or legal guardian.
REGISTRATION RULES
The registration fee is ₹1000 per song.
Each registration allows submission of one song only.
If a participant wishes to perform another song under a different music director, they must submit a separate registration and payment.
Once registration is completed, a unique Chest Number will be assigned to each participant.
The Chest Number will be used for identification during evaluation and judging.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Participants must follow the video submission rules strictly:
Video must be recorded in portrait format.
Acceptable video formats include MP4 or MPEG.
The audio must be clear and audible without heavy editing or enhancement.
Participants may use karaoke or instrumental tracks.
Participants must perform only the Pallavi and Anupallavi of the selected Malayalam song.
Full song performance is not required and will not be considered during judging.
Videos containing inappropriate content or poor sound quality may be rejected during screening.
SCREENING PROCESS
All submissions will undergo a screening process by the Paadaam Namukku Paadaam team. Screening includes verification of:

Payment confirmation
Video and audio quality
Screening may take 1–3 working days.
If any issues are found, participants may be asked to re-submit the video as instructed by the screening team.
SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
Approved videos will be framed with official event branding and the participant’s Chest Number.
Videos may be uploaded on official social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
Participants are encouraged to share the official video links with friends, family, and supporters.
Engagement such as views, likes, comments, and shares may contribute to the participant’s overall score.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Participants will be evaluated based on a combined scoring system consisting of:

Pitch accuracy
Expression
Overall presentation
Social Media Engagement
Points will be awarded based on:
Views
Likes
Comments
Shares
The final score will be calculated using Judges Evaluation and Social Media Engagement metrics.
FINALISTS SELECTION
The Top 15 participants with the highest combined scores will be selected as Finalists.
These finalists will be featured in the Top 15 Finalists Showcase.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Each category will have the following prizes:
1st Prize – ₹25,000
2nd Prize – ₹15,000
3rd Prize – ₹10,000
Winners will also receive:
Trophy / Memento
Certificate of Achievement
All participants will receive a Digital Participation Certificate.
AWARD CEREMONY
Winners will be honored at a special award ceremony conducted after 30 May 2026.
Details of the venue, program schedule, and event format will be announced on 20 May 2026.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & MEDIA RIGHTS
By submitting their video, participants grant the organizers the non-exclusive right to use, publish, distribute, and promote the video on digital platforms and promotional materials.
Videos may be used for:
Competition promotion
Social media campaigns
Event publicity
Participants retain ownership of their performance but grant permission for non-commercial promotional usage by the organizers.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Participants must ensure that:
All submitted performances are their own voice and performance.
Content is respectful and appropriate for public viewing.
No copyright violations or offensive material is included.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant violating these rules.
ORGANIZER RIGHTS
The organizers reserve the right to:
Modify competition rules if required
Disqualify entries that violate guidelines
Reject incomplete or inappropriate submissions
Such decisions will be final and binding.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
The organizers will not be responsible for technical issues, internet failures, or platform-related disruptions affecting submissions or social media engagement.
The organizers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or disputes arising from participation in the competition.
Participation in the competition is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
FINAL DECISION
All decisions made by the judging panel and organizing committee will be final and binding.
No disputes or appeals will be entertained.
